Meet Vanessa
Founder, Culture Strategist, Leadership Partner
After 15 years in corporate HR, organization development, and learning, I started Culturability to help make Human Resources easy, strategic, and impactful for small and growing businesses.
I've worked with startups, scale-ups, and executive teams through change, growth, and restructuring. And I've seen how even the most well-meaning leaders can get pulled into urgent demands—while people and culture quietly fall behind.
Strategic, effective HR is critically important for business performance. Today, I help leaders fix what’s not working and build what’s next—by leading with clarity, care, and purpose. I’m not here to throw frameworks at your team. I’m here to make sure your strategy actually works for your people.
I returned to my hometown of Minneapolis in 2020 after nearly a decade in NYC. My husband and I live with our two children and our dog, Willow. As an animal rescue volunteer and dog foster, I honor the memory of my beloved dogs, Nico & Josie. In my free time, you can find me gardening, studying languages, or painting—all pursuits that reflect my love of learning and growth.
